Spots worth stopping at
- Sri Ramakrishna's Room — Where he resided from 1871 to 1884; daily worship is conducted here (North-West corner of the complex).
- Panchavati — A sacred grove of five trees — banyan, peepal, neem, amlaki and wood-apple — used as a meditation site.
- Nahabat — Sri Sarada Devi's room, restored, with daily worship conducted there.
- Beltala — Beneath the Bel tree where the site states Tantric practices historically took place.
- Gaji Pith — A Muslim saint's shrine on the grounds, which the temple's own page frames as reflecting interfaith harmony.

When to go
- Morning 6:30 am – 12:30 pm, evening 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Aarti: Mangal Aarti 4:00 am, Bhog offering 12:30 pm, Sandhya Aarti 6:30 pm, Shital Bhog and Shayan 8:00 pm.
