Around the town
“VIP” and “quick darshan” passes
People wait in the square outside the temple and offer faster or “direct” darshan for cash, often without a board receipt. Some dress and speak as if they work for the temple board.
What to do. Buy any paid darshan pass only at the temple board counters or on the official website, where the board’s VIP pass is a fixed receipt. Do not pay anyone in the street who promises to take you straight in.
