Spots worth stopping at
- The chariot wheels — Twelve pairs of 'exquisitely-ornamented wheels', part of the temple's design as a colossal stone chariot drawn by seven horses.
- The Nata-Mandira (dance hall) — ASI's own page describes it as showing 'a more balanced architectural design than that of other Orissan temples', with sculptural ornamentation throughout.
- The Jagamohana — The main hall preceding the sanctum, with 'horizontal tiers grouped in three stages with life-size female sculptures of matchless charm.'
