19ஆம் நூற்றாண்டு துறவியான சாய் பாபாவின் சமாதி தலம், அவரின் ஒற்றுமை செய்தி அனைத்து மதத்தினரையும் ஈர்க்கிறது. ஷீரடி கோவில் அன்பு, தானம், அனைத்து மதங்களின் ஒற்றுமை என்ற பாதையைக் கற்றுத்தந்த சாய் பாபாவின் சமாதியைச் சுற்றி கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்துக்களாலும் முஸ்லிம்களாலும் வழிபடப்படும் அவர், நவீன இந்தியாவின் மிகப் பிரியமான ஆன்மீக ஆளுமைகளில் ஒருவராக உள்ளார். இந்தத் தலம் ஆறுதலும், அவரின் உதவி வாக்குறுதியும் நாடி வரும் பக்தர்களின் தொடர்ச்சியான வருகையை ஈர்க்கிறது.

தரிசனப் பயணம்படிக்க 3 நிமிடங்கள்→இதன் தோற்றம் — 1918 வரை ஷீரடியில் வாழ்ந்த சாய் பாபாவின் சமாதியை (ஓய்விடம்) சுற்றி கட்டப்பட்டது; கோவில் வளாகம் 20ஆம் நூற்றாண்டு முழுவதும் வளர்ந்தது.

இங்கிருந்துதான் தொடங்குங்கள். பாபாவின் சலவைக் கல் சமாதி, அதன் மேல் அவருடைய சிலை — முழுத் திருக்கோவிலும் இதை மையமாக வைத்தே கட்டப்பட்டது.
இடம்: — சன்ஸ்தானின் மைதானத்தின் மையத்தில் உள்ளது; கீழே உள்ள சன்னதிகள் அனைத்தும் இதற்கு அருகில் உள்ளன, அவற்றை நடந்தே அடையலாம். - குருஸ்தான்
சீர்டியில் பாபா இளம் துறவியாக முதலில் காணப்பட்ட வேப்ப மரம். பக்தர்கள் அதன் அடியில் தூபம் ஏற்றுவர்.

பாபாவின் சொந்தப் பொருட்கள் இங்கே பாதுகாக்கப்படுகின்றன — அவருடைய ஆரம்பகால பக்தர் காகா திக்ஷித் தங்கியிருந்த வாடாவிலேயே.

பாபா வந்தபோது முதலில் ‘சாய்’ என்று வரவேற்கப்பட்ட கிராமக் கோவில்.

எப்போது வரலாம்
குறிப்பிட்ட பருவம் இல்லை — சன்னதி ஆண்டு முழுவதும் திறந்திருக்கும். இராம நவமி, குரு பௌர்ணமி, விஜயதசமி (இது பாபாவின் புண்யதிதி) ஆகிய மூன்று திருவிழாக்கள் நகரத்தை நிறைக்கின்றன. இம்மூன்றும் இந்து நாட்காட்டிக்கு ஏற்ப மாறுகின்றன.
துனியிலிருந்து உடி
துனி என்பது பாபா த்வார்காமையில் எரிய வைத்த தீ; அதன் சாம்பல் — உடி — அவரிடம் வந்தவர்களுக்கு அவர் கொடுத்தது.

- சன்ஸ்தான் தன் சொந்த பிரசாதாலயத்தையும் (சாப்பாட்டு மண்டபம்) தன் சொந்த தங்கும் கட்டிடங்களையும் நடத்துகிறது. இரண்டையும் டிரஸ்ட் மூலமாகவே முன்பதிவு செய்ய வேண்டும், தனியார் முகவர் மூலம் அல்ல.
- சீர்டி என்பது சன்னதியை மையமாகக் கொண்டு கட்டப்பட்ட ஒரு சிறிய நகரம்; எனவே பெரும்பாலான தங்குமிடங்கள் வாயில்களிலிருந்து நடைதூரத்திலேயே உள்ளன.
- சீர்டியில் நகரத்திற்கு அருகில் ஒரு ரயில் நிலையம் உள்ளது. நகரத்தின் பெயரைச் சுமக்கும் விமான நிலையம் சீர்டிக்கு வெளியே உள்ளது; அதற்குச் சாலை வழிப் பயணம் தேவை — விமானம் இறங்கியதை மட்டும் அல்ல, ஒட்டுமொத்த வருகையையும் திட்டமிடுங்கள்.
- யாத்திரிகர்கள் நாசிக் அல்லது சத்ரபதி சம்பஜிநகரிலிருந்து நிலத்தின் வழியாகவும் வருகின்றனர். சீர்டியிலிருந்து புறப்படுவோருக்கு சனி ஷிங்க்நாப்பூரும் நாசிக்கும் வழக்கமான அடுத்த நிறுத்தங்கள்.

Shirdi is a walk between low, plain, whitewashed buildings rather than one great temple. The route runs from the queue hall to Sai Baba's marble samadhi, then out to the two small buildings he actually lived in.

A search for a well-known Shirdi hotel can land on a look-alike page with many reviews. After a small advance, a QR code request is used to take a much larger sum from the bank account.
What to do. Book the hotel on its own confirmed site or by phone listed on arrival. Do not pay extra QR codes for a receipt, and check the hotel desk before sending money.

On the road in
“VIP” and “quick darshan” passes
Agents stop vehicles on roads, chowks, bus stops and temple entry points. They claim to represent the Sansthan or to arrange darshan, rooms or parking, then send people to chosen shops and private lots.
What to do. Do not stop for people who flag you down or claim official status. Book darshan on online.sai.org.in or at the PRO office, and use posted public parking.

Crowd theft and snatching
On the walk from lodgings to the temple, someone may grab a gold earring from the ear and run. This has been reported on the Nagar-Manmad highway.
What to do. Leave jewellery in the room safe. Walk in a group on the highway stretch to the temple, and call Shirdi police if someone is stopped.

Groups mix with devotees near the gates, change clothes often, and cut purses with blades. Phones and cash are taken in the crowd.
What to do. Keep bags zipped and in front in the queue. Report a cut purse at once to Sansthan security or Shirdi police at the gates.
