हुगली नदी के तट पर उद्धारिणी काली, भवतारिणी का 19वीं शताब्दी का मंदिर और श्री रामकृष्ण परमहंस का पवित्र साधना-स्थल। दक्षिणेश्वर हुगली के तट पर स्थित 19वीं शताब्दी का काली मंदिर है, जो श्री रामकृष्ण परमहंस के पवित्र साधना-स्थल के रूप में प्रसिद्ध है। इसका नौ शिखरों वाला नवरत्न मुख्य मंदिर भवतारिणी को समर्पित है, वह उद्धारिणी काली जो भक्तों को संसार-सागर से पार कराती हैं। पंचवटी उपवन रामकृष्ण की साधना का स्मरण कराता है, और उनका संरक्षित कक्ष गुरु की उपस्थिति की शांति चाहने वाले भक्तों का स्वागत करता है।

  • Panchavati — A grove associated with Sri Ramakrishna's meditation. The shrine's own descriptions differ on the tree species, so check the place rather than relying on a fixed list.
  • Nahabat — Sri Sarada Devi's room, restored, with daily worship conducted there.
  • Beltala — Beneath the Bel tree where the site states Tantric practices historically took place.
  • Gaji Pith — A Muslim saint's shrine on the grounds, which the temple's own page frames as reflecting interfaith harmony.
