Ganesh Puja is the first worship before any ceremony or new venture. Ganesha is called Prathama Pujya, the one worshipped first, and Vighnaharta, the remover of obstacles.

Ganesha is Vighnaharta, the remover of obstacles, and his worship clears the path before a new start.
Offered at the beginning of almost every Hindu ritual, from weddings to a new vehicle.
